The funding is in...the countdown begins....

The Trustees are pleased to announce that the National Lottery- Awards for All have given the Passport to Work Project a grant of £10000. It now enables us to start our year long programme starting in September helping people who are unemployed and want to improve their skills, knowledge and gain confidence which will help them gain worthwhile employment. The programme is a mix of short practical courses, some essential skills, such as Maths, English and I.T., but focusing on practical applications which would be useful in both work and day to day life, followed by problem solving activities putting the applications into real life scenarios. There are going to be 3 separate programmes over the next year, one per school term and are going to be led by Steve Thompson, who is also our Project Manager and Mark Howard one of our tutors. Both Steve and Mark are looking forward to starting this new and exciting programme off in early September.
